Express is a short, end-to-end engagement from Code for Israel: discovery to map the real need and define what to build, followed by implementation of the solution with your team.

Who it's for

What you get

A practical, right-sized solution in real use — scoped, built, deployed and handed over within up to 12 weeks.

Express

Express is a short, end-to-end engagement. We begin with discovery to map the real need and define exactly what to build, then implement the solution with your team. One focused challenge, one clear outcome — completed within up to 12 weeks.

Smaller non-profits with a limited team and no in-house tech capacity, facing one focused challenge their current tools cannot solve. If your challenge is narrower in scope — and you cannot carry a long, multi-stage program — Express was built for you.

A practical, right-sized solution you actually use — not a report or a plan. Short cycles mean you see progress every week and shape the result as it is built, and a full handover at the end leaves your team able to run it on its own.

Young Rheumatology Association

The Challenge

The association's information was scattered across many Excel files, with no overall picture of the community: how many members there are, where they live, who wants to volunteer and who can donate. Decisions about conferences and activities were therefore made without data.

The Solution

A management system on monday that centralizes the association's databases of members, volunteers, pharma companies and conferences. It also includes a structure for managing the annual program, conferences and budgets, task management, and management of the inquiries the association receives — with automations and a dashboard for management.

The Challenge

The organization was classifying by hand every inquiry arriving through the website and email, from parents and from job seekers alike. Mistakes crept in, and inquiries and CVs were not tracked in an organized way. The work rested on emails and on specific people, so inquiries were lost and information was missed.

The Solution

A system on monday that centralizes all incoming inquiries.

Mothers for Mothers Association

The Challenge

Inquiries reached the association from many places: the website, email, Messenger, Instagram and Facebook. There was no single place that gathered them and made it possible to follow up on how each one was handled. Data from the branches, such as the number of volunteers, active mentorships and agreements with authorities, was also collected by hand in a semi-annual survey. The association therefore had no up-to-date picture, and found it hard to present its impact.

The Solution

A monday system was implemented to manage the association's inquiry processes, integrated with the organization's website and social channels, together with infrastructure for branch coordinator reporting and broad dashboards for the organization's management to track.

Impact

A rise of at least 400% in the number of inquiries reaching the association: from one or two a week to more than 10 a week.

The Challenge

Instructors were assigned to activities manually.

The Solution

An AI-based instructor matching system, built in Lovable. For each activity the system suggests three instructors who meet all the criteria, and when there is no full match it shows partial alternatives. In addition, the volunteer trained two of the organization's content developers to upgrade presentations using Claude Code.

A self-service 'Reservist Basket' hub where employers independently discover membership, explore services, and take their first step — reducing friction and lowering the barrier to participation.

The Solution

An AI bot built on the Base44 platform that gives employers of reservists fast, personalized answers, based on the experience accumulated on the subject together with dozens of leading companies in the economy.
