Thematic Call for Proposals:
our method for systemic impact

We operate through a unique model we developed — the Thematic Call for Proposals. This model focuses on a topic of national importance and harnesses the entire field to drive systemic change. We bring together government bodies, local authorities, social organizations, and philanthropy working in the field to create a broad mapping of the challenge, forge strategic connections, and develop solutions with the potential to impact the entire ecosystem.

We aim to help with national challenges — each CFP is a dedicated program focused on a single national challenge, concentrating all our resources, expertise, and partnerships around it to drive real change in that field.

Who we are

Code for Israel is Israel's largest high-tech volunteer ecosystem, operating as a non-profit organization committed to creating measurable impact in the field by applying the advanced work methodologies of the startup industry to the social and public sectors.

Leading human capital

A community of over 1,400 carefully selected volunteers — product managers, software developers, data professionals, and designers from the leading companies in the economy (Big Tech and startups).

Problem-First approach

We emphasize deep characterization of the problem, its roots, and its operational context, to ensure precise solution development that addresses a real need in the field.

End-to-end accompaniment

Our process includes comprehensive accompaniment of the organization — from mapping bottlenecks, through characterization and development, to full implementation in the work environment.

Full Partnership model (Design Partner)

We don't operate as an external supplier, but as strategic partners on the journey. Our only interest is the success of the project and solving your challenge.

Proven experience

We have delivered over 100 complex technological projects to date, which were characterized, developed, and successfully implemented in public and social organizations in Israel.
